Rich Langdale

Rich Langdale is the Managing Partner of NCT Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Columbus, Ohio. He launched his entrepreneurial career in 1986 while attending The Ohio State University, where he founded Digital Storage, Inc. Over his career, Langdale has founded or co-founded ten companies and invested in dozens of others across the Midwest. He has played a significant role in shaping the regional startup ecosystem, co-founding the Center for Entrepreneurship at The Ohio State University in 2001 and serving as a board member for Venture Ohio while supporting Rev1. In 2019, he notably walked away from closing a $150 million third fund for NCT Ventures, which had originally targeted half that amount. Langdale currently focuses on backing early-stage technology companies that disrupt major industries through marketing, logistics, and operational efficiency in underserved markets.
