Ricardo Donoso Insunza

Ricardo Donoso Insunza is a Partner and Co-founder at Manutara Ventures and the Founder of Opencasa, currently based in Miami, United States. Before establishing his current venture capital firm in 2016 alongside co-founder Cristian Olea, he built and successfully sold the Latin American technology company Celmedia in 2015. Through his proptech startup Opencasa, which utilizes proprietary algorithms for real estate acquisition, remodeling, renting, and property management, he secured a $75 million funding round in 2023 to finance a ten-month market expansion plan. His broader entrepreneurial and investment initiatives have attracted financial backing and strategic collaboration from notable regional business figures, including José Yuraszeck through his family office Santa Cecilia, and Guillermo Said. Today, Donoso Insunza focuses on scaling his United States real estate operations while continuing to allocate venture capital to early-stage technology startups.
