Rianne Ellenbroek

Rianne Ellenbroek is a Principal at BioGeneration Ventures, a specialized venture capital firm focused on early-stage life sciences investments. She originally joined the organization in 2020 as an Investment Manager to help establish and direct its pre-seed investment activities through the newly formed Fonds InvesteringsRijpe Starters fund. Prior to her current tenure at BioGeneration Ventures, Ellenbroek gained institutional investment experience working as an Associate at INKEF Capital, where she evaluated emerging healthcare and biotechnology startups across Europe. She is a medical biologist by training and earned a PhD in metabolic diseases from Leiden University, providing her with the technical expertise required to assess complex scientific assets. Her current professional focus centers on leveraging her academic background and financial experience to identify, fund, and support early-stage biotech companies through targeted pre-seed and seed-stage venture capital investments.
