Reza Fetanat is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Spaceium, an aerospace enterprise developing in-orbit refueling stations and space infrastructure. In this executive role, he leads the technical development of systems designed to enable sustainable space exploration and facilitate multiplanetary logistics. Before founding Spaceium, Fetanat directed a university rocket engineering program, where he oversaw the successful launch of three rockets and scaled the organization into the institution's fastest-growing technical team. His foundational background in aerospace hardware includes the complete development of four distinct rocket engines, alongside the creation of a comprehensive propulsion stability model. He also possesses hands-on experience in applied robotics, having built specialized autonomous systems such as a dedicated rocket tracker utilized for post-launch vehicle recovery. Fetanat currently focuses on scaling in-space infrastructure, advancing propulsion mechanics, and deploying robotics to support long-term commercial space operations.
