Renzo Viale Paiva

Renzo Viale Paiva is an MBA candidate at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, currently based in Berkeley, California. Prior to his graduate studies, he served as the Data and Analytics Business Lead at Brein’s Center for Advanced Analytics in Lima, Peru. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Finance from Universidad del Pacífico. During his early career, Viale Paiva pioneered the first small and medium enterprise bond financing in the Peruvian capital markets, creating a new investment asset class. Outside of his professional endeavors, he is an endurance athlete who recently completed an Ironman 70.3 and a 5,000-meter mountain summit within a single month. His current focus centers on capital markets innovation and data analytics, with an objective of expanding the venture studio model across Latin America.
