Renee Compton Ryan

Renee Compton Ryan is the Vice President of Johnson & Johnson Innovation, based in San Francisco, California, United States. Appointed to this executive role in early 2023, she leads corporate venture capital and innovation scouting for the healthcare giant, overseeing an active venture portfolio of more than 50 investments. She also manages operations for the JLABS incubator network, which currently supports over 500 startups across 20 global sites. In 2024, she directed the corporation's strategic investment in the AI-driven diagnostics startup PathAI.
