Remus Brett

Remus Brett is a General Partner at LocalGlobe and an investor affiliated with Phoenix Court. He began his career in technology consulting and research, eventually leading the European financial services team at Forrester Research. Brett later co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of the data analytics firm Finalta, which he scaled and sold in an acquisition to McKinsey & Company before directing its subsequent international expansion. Transitioning to venture capital, he has backed numerous early-stage technology startups, including Orbital Witness, Sylvera, and Weav, which was later acquired by Brex. Outside of his primary investment activities, he serves as a trustee for the Lively Minds nongovernmental organization and supports the Noble Rot hospitality group. His current investment focus centers on financial technology infrastructure, consumer applications, and the intersection of climate and finance.
