Reiner Mauch is an active early-stage angel investor and venture capital participant based in Munich, Germany. He holds a computer science degree from Universität Karlsruhe and previously co-founded the online brokerage ConSors in 1994, scaling it into one of Germany's pioneering internet companies before his eventual exit. Since 2002, Mauch has been a dedicated member of the b-to-v venture capital network, directing private capital toward emerging technology startups. His extensive investment portfolio features several prominent European technology companies, including professional network Xing, translation platform Linguee, and wealth management firm Scalable Capital. Additionally, he has co-organized monthly Angel Dinners in Munich alongside Robert Redweik since 2011 to facilitate networking between local founders and regional investors. Mauch currently focuses his capital allocation and advisory efforts on early-stage ventures operating across the fintech, cleantech, mobile technology, and digital health sectors.
