Rehan Sheikh is the Vice President of Global Silicon Chip Technology and Manufacturing at Google Cloud. Prior to this executive role, he spent four years at Microsoft, initially joining as General Manager of Technology and Product Manufacturing Engineering in 2021 before being promoted to Vice President of Silicon Manufacturing and Packaging Engineering in 2023. During his tenure, he oversaw company-wide silicon development and custom processor manufacturing initiatives for enterprise data center technologies. Previously, Sheikh spent 24 years at Intel Corporation from 1997 to 2021, ultimately serving as Chief Test and Silicon Engineering Technologist. In that capacity, he directed silicon engineering and productization efforts across multiple segments, including 5G data centers, discrete graphics, and Atom-based system-on-chips. His extensive two-decade career focuses on advanced semiconductor manufacturing, custom chip packaging, and high-performance computing applications for modern cloud infrastructure.
