Regina Zurutuza

Regina Zurutuza is a Partner at 500 Startups Latam, the regional division of 500 Global, based in Mexico City, Mexico. In this capacity, she oversees a venture capital portfolio comprising more than 200 early stage technology companies across Latin America, with exposure to prominent regional enterprises such as Kueski, Clip, and Bitso. Throughout 2024, she successfully directed a $30 million fundraising initiative specifically designed to capitalize the firm's fifteenth regional acceleration batch. Before assuming her current partnership role, she served as Managing Partner at 500 Latam, founded multiple technology ventures, and recently expanded her ecosystem involvement by joining Levante Capital as an advisor in the first quarter of 2025. Her current professional focus primarily centers on directing early stage venture capital investments into emerging financial technology, electronic commerce, healthtech, and SaaS startups throughout the Latin American market.
