Ray Ozzie is the founder and CEO of Blues Wireless, an IoT connectivity company based in Westford, Massachusetts. Prior to founding the telecom hardware company in 2018, he served as Chief Technical Officer and Chief Software Architect at Microsoft from 2005 to 2010 following its acquisition of his collaborative software startup, Groove Networks. Ozzie previously created Lotus Notes, a communication platform developed through his earlier venture, Iris Associates, which was later acquired by IBM and utilized by hundreds of millions of users globally. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and previously launched Talko, a mobile communications application that was acquired by Microsoft in December 2015. His current focus centers on developing integrated hardware and software services to streamline global cellular connectivity for enterprise applications.
