Ravi Vinayak

Ravi Vinayak is the Managing Director of New Trail Consulting, a life sciences advisory firm based in Mountain View, California, where he leverages 25 years of diagnostics industry experience. Since founding the firm in 2005, he has specialized in developing global market access, distribution partner selection, and sales management strategies for small to medium-sized manufacturers of scientific instrumentation. His academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Alberta and a postdoctoral fellowship in chemical biology at the California Institute of Technology. Additionally, he holds a Master of Science in organic chemistry from the University of Mumbai, which preceded his extensive career in the medical device sector. Today, Vinayak focuses on guiding organizations through complex market entry processes to create significant returns on investment, while actively volunteering and mentoring emerging professionals within his field.
