Ravi Chachra

Ravi Chachra is the Managing Partner of Eight Capital and the Co-founder of VantedgeAI, an artificial intelligence startup from the Winter 2022 batch of Y Combinator. He began his entrepreneurial career in 1999 by co-founding SNAZ, a venture-backed mobile wallet and universal shopping cart platform, before establishing a distressed fund following the dot-com crash to acquire the convertible bonds of promising technology companies. Chachra later launched a private credit fund in 2019, which he subsequently sold to joint venture partner JC Flowers and Company in 2021. Through Eight Capital, a dedicated demo day fund, he has actively invested in a growing portfolio of more than 165 Y Combinator companies. Holding a Computer Science degree and an MBA from the Wharton School, Chachra currently focuses on identifying and backing high-potential technology and artificial intelligence ventures.
