Raphael Levy is an Associate Professor of Economics and Decision Science at HEC Paris, a role he was promoted to in 2022 after originally graduating from the prestigious institution in 2004. He earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics in 2009, subsequently completing a Max Weber Fellowship at the European University Institute in Florence. Prior to his current faculty position, Levy served as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Mannheim and previously worked as a visiting professor at HEC Paris in 2013. As an academic economist, he specializes in information economics, applying theoretical frameworks to industrial organization, corporate finance, political economy, and behavioral economics. His academic research frequently appears in leading peer-reviewed publications, including Management Science, the Journal of the European Economic Association, and the Journal of Labor Economics.
