Raphael Leopold

Raphael Leopold is the Managing Partner at 01 Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Berlin, Germany. He launched the firm in 2023 with a €50 million fund to invest in pre-seed and seed-stage European startups across the SaaS, fintech, and climate tech sectors, recently backing Everc and building a portfolio of more than 15 companies. Previously, Leopold spent nine years as a Partner at Point Nine Capital, where he led investments in more than 40 companies and oversaw over 10 exits, including the Taxfix IPO and the Flink acquisition. Prior to his extensive venture capital career, he worked at Holtzbrinck Ventures and earned a degree in business administration from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Leopold currently focuses on bridging European entrepreneurs with capital and networks to scale early-stage software and technology businesses.
