Ran Nussbaum is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Pontifax Venture Capital, a life sciences venture capital firm based in Israel. Under his leadership, the firm manages more than $370 million across four funds and has invested in 75 companies globally, with 17 achieving public listings. He has overseen significant biotech exits, including the acquisitions of Kite Pharma by Gilead and ArQule by Merck for $2.7 billion. Nussbaum currently serves as chairman of the board for Graviton, Lutris Pharma, and Adcytherix, having previously held the chairman role at Keros Therapeutics until April 2023. Prior to establishing Pontifax in 2004, he spent a decade in senior management at Israeli financial institutions and served as CEO of Biomedix. His current focus remains on providing strategic oversight to early-stage and growth-stage biopharmaceutical and healthcare technology ventures.
