Ran Levitzky

Ran Levitzky is a Co-founder and General Partner at Magenta Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Herzliya, Israel. Before launching the firm, he served as a Principal at Viola Ventures from 2015 to 2018, where he co-led early-stage investments in companies such as Pagaya Technologies and Cloudyn, which was later acquired by Microsoft. His earlier career spans two decades in software engineering and product management, including technical and strategic roles at Google, Electronic Arts, and the Israeli Ministry of Defense. At Magenta Venture Partners, Levitzky manages a $100 million fund targeting Israeli technology startups, backing portfolio companies like Workiz, which secured a $13 million Series B, and Become, which raised $12.5 million. His current investment focus centers on enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and fintech applications bridging local innovation with global markets.
