Raman Varma

Raman Varma is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kestrel AI, an emerging enterprise software company developing an AI-native cloud incident response platform. He studied computer science at the University of California, Berkeley, where he engaged in advanced machine learning research at the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research (BAIR) lab and the Sky Computing lab. Prior to founding Kestrel AI, Varma gained applied machine learning and software engineering experience across several prominent Silicon Valley technology organizations. His professional background includes machine learning roles at the financial services company Square and the educational technology platform Coursera, as well as a software engineering position at the cloud cybersecurity firm Illumio. Varma currently focuses on leveraging his academic research and industry experience in machine learning to automate and streamline complex cloud infrastructure security and incident resolution processes.
