Ram Ofir

Ram Ofir is a technology investor and executive based in Los Altos, California. After earning a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology, he began his career as a chip design engineer at National Semiconductor in 1989. Ofir later spent seven years as the General Manager of the Home Division at Zoran Microelectronics, where he integrated four acquired technology companies to build a $200 million business unit. He also directed Zoran's corporate research and development organizations, managing over 1,200 engineers, before serving as the Chief Executive Officer of AMIMON Inc. At AMIMON, he guided the wireless video technology company through a successful turnaround and its subsequent acquisition by the Vitec Group. His current focus centers on executive leadership, corporate turnarounds, and strategic investments within the semiconductor and consumer electronics sectors.
