Ram Jambunathan

Ram Jambunathan is the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of SAP.iO, as well as the head of corporate strategy at the parent company SAP. Since the initial formation of the strategic business unit in July 2016, he has directed the SAP.iO Fund and its equity-free accelerator programs operating across ten global startup hubs. Under his leadership, the corporate venture capital arm has executed over 200 investments in early-stage B2B software startups, including neural search specialist Jina AI and frictionless retail checkout provider Zippin. Jambunathan has spent more than a decade at SAP leading strategic and go-to-market teams, and he has recently published insights on corporate support for women entrepreneurs through the World Economic Forum. His current professional focus centers on scaling global enterprise operations and integrating emerging software startups into broader corporate ecosystems.
