Ralph Eschenbach is a serial entrepreneur and investor who most recently served as a Managing Director and Partner at Enjoy The Work in Palo Alto, California. After earning electrical engineering degrees from UC Berkeley and Stanford University, he developed the first commercial GPS receiver and founded two fiber-optic telecommunications startups that resulted in two of the top ten largest venture-backed acquisitions of their time. Following the dot-com crash, Eschenbach co-founded the early social networking platform hi5.com, scaling the company to 60 million monthly active users, and later launched an app discovery platform that generated 15 million organic installs. Transitioning into venture capital, he spent twelve years as the President and LLC Manager of Sand Hill Angels, directing early-stage technology investments.
