Ralph (Chris) Christoffersen

Ralph (Chris) Christoffersen is a Partner at Morgenthaler Ventures based in Menlo Park, California, where he leads early-stage investments in enterprise software and SaaS. Before joining the firm in 2023, he spent fifteen years as a Managing Director at Mohr Davidow Ventures and held earlier investment roles at Kleiner Perkins. Over his two-decade venture capital career, Christoffersen has managed more than $500 million in funds and held board seats at over fifteen technology companies. His notable investment exits include Coupa Software, where he served on the board of directors through its 2016 IPO and subsequent $8 billion private equity acquisition in 2022. As a former software engineer and Stanford University graduate with a master's degree in electrical engineering, Christoffersen currently focuses his investments on scalable business models across cloud computing, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence infrastructure.
