Rajul Jain

Rajul Jain is a Managing Director at Vida Ventures, a life sciences venture capital firm based in Los Angeles, California. Before joining the investment firm in 2019, he served as Chief Medical Officer at Kite Pharma, where he directed the regulatory approvals for the cell therapies Yescarta and Tecartus prior to the company's acquisition by Gilead. He previously worked as a Global Development Lead at Amgen and completed specialized training through a biophysics postdoctoral fellowship at Rockefeller University and an oncology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Drawing on over 20 years of clinical and executive biomedical experience, Jain currently holds board director positions at A2 Biotherapeutics, Quanta Therapeutics, and Third Arc Bio. His current venture capital focus centers on advancing early-stage drug development, cell therapy, and immunology technologies to address complex metabolic and oncological disorders.
