Rajiv Kapoor

Rajiv Kapoor is the Chief Executive Officer of Chai Angels and the founder of Chai Ventures, operating as an early-stage venture capital investor and entrepreneur. Prior to establishing his current investment vehicles, he built his foundational operational background as an early employee at the marketing automation software company Marketo. During his operational tenure at Marketo, he contributed to the enterprise's rapid commercial growth leading up to its successful initial public offering in 2013. Through Chai Angels and Chai Ventures, Kapoor now directs capital toward early-stage startups, specifically targeting emerging enterprises that are led by female founders. To date, his investment syndicate has successfully backed a growing portfolio of 30 female entrepreneurs across the broader technology and startup ecosystem. His current focus centers on leveraging his prior software operating experience to diversify venture capital allocation and systematically fund women-led companies.
