Rajit Malhotra is a Venture Partner at Peak State Ventures based in Southern California, where he partners with founders developing enterprise technology. Prior to his venture capital career, he served as the Managing Partner of McKinsey's Southern California Practice, advising corporate clients across multiple sectors. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded and served as a board member of Shantha Biotech, a healthcare and biotechnology company that was ultimately acquired by Sanofi-Aventis in an $850 million transaction. Throughout his career, Malhotra has been involved with more than 20 startup companies and currently sits on the board of the UCLA Technology Development Group alongside his membership in the Young Presidents' Organization. Holding an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and an MPA from Harvard University, Malhotra currently focuses his investments on Future of Work solutions and data-driven workforce agility.
