Raj Kapoor

Raj Kapoor is a Managing Partner at Khosla Ventures based in Menlo Park, California. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Before entering venture capital, Kapoor held engineering and product management positions at VMware and founded E8 Security, a cybersecurity startup that was acquired by Cisco in 2018. Since joining Khosla Ventures in 2010, he has managed funds exceeding $1 billion in assets and executed over 50 investments, including leading the firm's participation in xAI's Series B round. Following notable portfolio exits such as Guardicore to Akamai, he recently joined the board of the artificial intelligence robotics company Sierra in early 2025. His current investment strategy remains focused on seed and growth-stage enterprise software, cybersecurity, and climate technology.
