Raj Kapoor is a Managing Partner at Khosla Ventures based in Menlo Park, California. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Before entering venture capital, Kapoor held engineering and product management positions at VMware and founded E8 Security, a cybersecurity startup that was acquired by Cisco in 2018. Since joining Khosla Ventures in 2010, he has managed funds exceeding $1 billion in assets and executed over 50 investments, including leading the firm's participation in xAI's Series B round. Following notable portfolio exits such as Guardicore to Akamai, he recently joined the board of the artificial intelligence robotics company Sierra in early 2025.
