Raj Kadam

Raj Kadam is the Managing Partner at The Venture Collective, based in San Francisco, California. Before transitioning to venture capital in 2023, he served as the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of People.ai, an enterprise sales automation platform backed by Andreessen Horowitz. During his tenure, he helped scale the company to over $100 million in annual recurring revenue and secured a $200 million Series D round in 2021. Kadam holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara and previously founded the mobile technology startup Persistent Systems. In his current role, he manages a portfolio of more than 20 startups and recently invested in the Series D round for enterprise search company Glean. His investment strategy primarily centers on seed and pre-seed stage companies developing artificial intelligence, machine learning, and developer tools.
