Rainer Horn

Rainer Horn is the Managing Partner at SpaceTec Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Berlin, Germany. He oversees a portfolio of more than 20 companies, acts as a limited partner in international funds, and manages over €100 million in assets, recently closing a €50 million fund in the first quarter of 2025. Before transitioning to venture capital, he held engineering and management positions at Siemens and Osram, and successfully founded and exited companies in the semiconductor and display technology sectors. Horn earned a degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Munich and remains an active investor, recently leading a 2024 funding round for the quantum computing startup Q.ANT. His current focus centers on bridging European and United States markets by backing early-stage deep tech, industrial hardware, robotics, and space technology startups.
