Under his leadership, amaxa AG secured financial backing in 1997, notably becoming the very first portfolio company funded by Earlybird Venture Capital. He built his foundational scientific expertise by earning a Master of Science degree in biology from the University of Cologne. Currently, his primary investment focus centers on backing biotechnology and medical technology founders, providing strategic capital and operational guidance from their initial data generation phases through their advanced growth stages.
