Rahat Ahmed

Rahat Ahmed is the Founder and Managing Partner of Anchorless Bangladesh, a venture capital firm based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He began his career covering frontier markets in 2004 at Prince Street Capital, where he led investments in the Dhaka Stock Exchange and established the firm as one of the market's largest hedge fund investors. Prior to his current role, Ahmed co-founded TrinityVR, a virtual reality sports science platform utilized by Major League Baseball, and served as the primary strategist for DKMS US. As an early-stage investor, he seeded the Bangladeshi logistics and ride-sharing startup Pathao and currently acts as a Senior Advisor at North South University's Startups Next incubator. A finance graduate of New York University's Stern School of Business, his current focus centers on developing Bangladesh's startup ecosystem through investments in fintech, logistics, and consumer technology.
