Raffaele Mauro is a General Partner at Primo Space, a venture capital fund based in Italy that specializes in deep tech and the space economy. Before joining the firm in December 2020, he served as the Managing Director at Endeavor Italia and held technology-focused investment positions at Intesa Sanpaolo, United Ventures, and P101. As a business angel investor, Mauro backed Y Combinator alumni Multiply Labs in 2016 and Strive School in 2020, and he currently sits on the board of directors for Sidereus Space Dynamics. His academic credentials include a Ph.D. from Bocconi University, a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, and specialized coursework at Singularity University at the NASA Ames Research Center. A 2023 Kauffman Fellow, Mauro focuses his current investment strategy on financing early-stage commercial space ventures, artificial intelligence applications, and quantum computing infrastructure.
