Raed A. Masri

Raed A. Masri is the Founder and Managing Partner of Transform VC, a seed-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Before transitioning to venture capital investing, he operated as a serial technology entrepreneur, founding companies such as Jaguar Wireless and SkySurf, the latter of which exited to Gogo Inflight. Masri was a founding team member of Mubadala Ventures in 2015 and holds an engineering degree from Carleton University alongside an MBA from Cornell University. Through Transform VC, he has deployed $82 million across 40 investments, achieving a 50% internal rate of return, securing seven successful outcomes, and backing four companies that reached unicorn status. His current investment focus centers on supporting overlooked founders building deep tech solutions for climate and social impact, with an early-stage portfolio that includes Ample, Vectara, and Rembrand.
