Radboud Vlaar is the Managing Partner and founder of Finch Capital, a venture capital firm based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Since launching the venture firm in 2013, he has grown its total assets under management to €450 million and backed more than 45 portfolio companies through early-stage and growth equity investments. Prior to establishing his current firm, he spent a decade at McKinsey & Company, where he advanced to partner and focused on financial services, private equity, and digital banking. He began his professional career handling corporate strategy and acquisitions at TPG, co-founded three separate technology companies, and currently serves on the Supervisory Board of Robeco. Vlaar utilizes his corporate strategy background and four master's degrees from the University of Groningen to direct investments across the artificial intelligence, financial technology, and Internet of Things sectors.
