Rachel Lee

Rachel Lee is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Scritch, an artificial intelligence software startup based in San Francisco, California. Prior to establishing the company in 2023 alongside Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Claire Lee, she worked as a Software Engineer at Amazon developing the core product detail page, following her computer science studies at Cornell University. At Scritch, which participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2024 batch, she leads the technical development of a comprehensive AI operating system designed specifically for veterinary medical practices. Under her technical direction, the startup recently deployed Emily, an automated voice receptionist that currently manages thousands of daily front-desk interactions and scheduling tasks with pet owners. Lee's current focus centers on bridging large-scale web development and machine learning applications to automate administrative workflows within the veterinary healthcare sector.
