Rachel Cotton

Rachel Cotton is currently a Partner at Amplo, a global venture capital firm, and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She originally joined the investment firm in 2019 and actively focuses on deploying capital into early-stage technology companies, holding board director or observer roles at specific portfolio startups such as WizeHire and Lightyear. Prior to transitioning into her career in venture capital, she spent over four years at Meta, working primarily as a Product Marketing Manager for both the Facebook and Instagram platforms. Cotton completed her higher education entirely at Stanford University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree before subsequently receiving her Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
