R. Jacob Vogelstein

R. Jacob Vogelstein is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Catalio Capital Management, LP, where he directs investments into private breakthrough biomedical technology companies. Before establishing Catalio, he served as a General Partner at Camden Partners Holdings, LLC, a private equity firm that spun out of T. Rowe Price. Earlier in his career, Vogelstein held faculty positions at Johns Hopkins University within the Applied Physics Laboratory and the Whiting School of Engineering. He earned a Bachelor of Science in bio-electrical engineering from Brown University and a doctorate in biomedical engineering from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, later receiving the Presidential Early Career Award for Science and Engineering. He currently holds board seats at six companies, including Iambic, Nextpoint, and Pheast, maintaining a primary focus on advancing breakthrough biomedical innovations through strategic venture capital investments.
