Quan Nguyen

Quan Nguyen is the co-founder and CEO of GIMO, an on-demand pay fintech startup based in Thanh Oai, Vietnam. Under his leadership, the mobile application provides financial solutions for underbanked workers and secured a $17.1 million Series A funding round in 2023 led by TNB Aura. The company previously participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2022 batch to accelerate its core platform development. Prior to launching GIMO, Nguyen served as an executive at Citibank, where he managed consumer banking operations and led capital raising and investments of up to $100 million in the Vietnamese debt market for various family offices. He also holds an Executive MBA from the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Nguyen's ongoing focus centers on scaling accessible financial well-being solutions for blue-collar laborers in Southeast Asia.
