Puja Patel

Puja Patel is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bumpline, a consumer services platform operating as Captain Tailor, and the Co-founder of Dearest, a hyper-targeted marketing mail company. Previously, she founded ShiftDoc, a healthcare staffing platform designed to connect medical practices with per-diem professionals, which was selected to participate in the Y Combinator Summer 2017 batch. Following her early entrepreneurial ventures, Patel transitioned into the biotechnology sector, where she served as the head of medical affairs and clinical development for an undisclosed firm from 2020 to 2025. Her professional career spans multiple distinct industries, transitioning from building venture-backed healthcare technology to leading clinical operations within the life sciences industry. Patel currently focuses on scaling early-stage consumer-facing service applications and marketing technology startups while leveraging her diverse background in clinical development and platform operations.
