Priyanka Shrestha

Priyanka Shrestha is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Galen AI, a healthcare technology startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The company, which currently operates with a two-person team, is participating in the Y Combinator Spring 2025 batch to develop an artificial intelligence assistant for patient care management. Shrestha holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University. Before launching her current venture, she gained applied software engineering experience at the multinational pharmaceutical and diagnostics corporation Roche. She also conducted academic research at several prominent institutions, including the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, the Gladstone Institutes, and UCLA. Her current professional focus centers on applying artificial intelligence to resolve systemic fragmentation and accessibility challenges within consumer health and personalized clinical care.
