Prem Tumkosit

Prem Tumkosit is a Managing Director at the Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, the corporate venture capital arm of Merck & Co., based in the United States. Appointed as the youngest-ever managing director at the investment firm in 2019 at age 36, he oversees investments from a $500 million evergreen fund that has deployed over $1 billion across more than 70 companies. His investment portfolio features prominent digital health and precision medicine startups, including successful venture-backed companies such as Livongo and Strata Oncology. Tumkosit, who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry, was recognized in Fortune's 40 Under 40 in Health in 2020 for his contributions to the sector.
