Prateek Swain

Prateek Swain is an entrepreneur based in the United States, currently serving as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Swadesh, a financial technology company developing banking infrastructure for the Indian diaspora. He graduated from Princeton University in 2019 with a degree in Computer Science, where he expanded the campus entrepreneurial ecosystem by establishing MakeVenturesPrinceton, the institution's first student-run startup incubator. During his early career, Swain also founded HackIndia, scaling the initiative to become recognized as the largest hackathon in India. Prior to launching his current fintech venture, he gained diverse operational and investment experience through roles at Microsoft, the hardware startup Reactive Robotics, and the venture capital firm Westbridge Capital.
