Pranav Poddar

Pranav Poddar is the Managing Partner at Ikigai Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Under his leadership, the firm manages over $50 million in assets across a portfolio of more than 20 companies and recently raised a $75 million second fund in 2025 to target 30 additional investments. Prior to his current role, Poddar co-founded and led investments at Blume Ventures, following earlier positions at Matrix Partners India and Lightspeed Venture Partners. He holds a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Kharagpur and a Master of Business Administration from ISB Hyderabad. His investment track record includes notable exits such as the acquisition of GreyOrange and recent seed rounds in companies like CarbonCraft. Poddar currently focuses on backing pre-seed and seed-stage technology startups across the fintech, SaaS, and climate tech sectors.
