Pradeep Elankumaran

Pradeep Elankumaran is the Co-founder of jo, an artificial intelligence voice-first digital personality startup launched in late 2024, and is currently based in Silicon Valley. As a serial entrepreneur and two-time Y Combinator alumnus, he previously served as the Co-founder and CEO of Farmstead, an online grocery delivery platform that successfully expanded operations into 15 new markets. Before Farmstead, he co-founded the Y Combinator-backed photo-sharing application Kicksend, which was eventually acquired by Lyft. Following this acquisition, Elankumaran joined Lyft to direct driver growth initiatives, reporting directly to the CEO, and previously held product and engineering roles at Yahoo. He originally studied physics and astronomy with a concentration in computational astrophysics before transitioning into the software engineering sector. Elankumaran's career focuses on engineering consumer technology products for massive audiences, spanning e-commerce logistics, digital media, and modern artificial intelligence companions.
