Pocket Sun

Pocket Sun is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of SoGal Ventures, based in Los Angeles, California. Prior to her investing career, she earned a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. Sun initially established the SoGal platform to address gender disparities in entrepreneurship, subsequently launching the venture capital firm to invest in underrepresented founding teams across the United States and Asia. Her work in the venture capital sector has earned her recognition on the Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 list and placement among the LinkedIn Top 10 Voices in Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship. Additionally, she has presented at major corporate events, including the Microsoft CEO Summit and various international conferences. Sun currently focuses on directing early-stage venture capital toward diverse entrepreneurs operating across international markets.
