Pippa Gawley

Pippa Gawley is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Zero Carbon Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm focused exclusively on climate technology. She holds a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cambridge, providing a rigorous technical foundation for her investments in frontier hard tech. Prior to establishing her current firm in 2019, Gawley held a variety of operational roles across multiple established technology companies and spent approximately eight years operating as an active angel investor within California's impact investing ecosystem. In her current capacity at Zero Carbon Capital, she directs capital toward early-stage startup companies developing scientific and engineering solutions designed to remove critical barriers to deep global decarbonization. Her professional background combines foundational engineering expertise with dedicated venture capital experience to identify and scale emerging hardware technologies addressing complex global climate challenges.
