Piotr Jedryszek

Piotr Jedryszek is the CTO and co-founder of Evolvere Biosciences, an AI-driven biotechnology startup based in Oxford, United Kingdom. He established the company in 2021 alongside co-founders Adam Winnifrith and Weronika Ślesak to develop novel antibiotics that combat bacterial resistance. The three-person team recently participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2024 batch and has secured approximately $500,000 in funding from angel investors, prizes, and early backers. Jedryszek previously studied Biological Sciences at the University of Oxford, where he is currently completing a PhD in Interdisciplinary Biosciences. His early research included an oil spill remediation project that advanced as a national finalist in the EUCYS competition, and he previously won the OUBT Biohackingathon for laboratory space. His current focus centers on leveraging computational biology and artificial intelligence to model evolutionary protein interactions for advanced drug discovery.
