Pietro Dova

Pietro Dova is the Managing Partner and cofounder of XG Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm. Before establishing the firm in March 2008 alongside fellow former Google executive Andrea Zurek, he served as Finance Director and Corporate Controller at Google from 2001 to 2007. In this capacity, he managed worldwide accounting operations and played a critical role in executing the company's initial public offering roadshow. Through XG Ventures, Dova invests seed capital in consumer and enterprise technology startups across the mobile, ecommerce, and SaaS sectors. His investment portfolio features notable companies such as Carta, which has secured over $1 billion in funding across more than ten rounds, alongside successful startup exits like Aardvark. His current focus remains on leveraging his extensive corporate finance background to provide strategic mentorship and networking opportunities to technology founders.
