Pierre Carli

Pierre Carli is the Co-president of Occitanie Angels and an active angel investor based in the Toulouse area of France. Before transitioning to early-stage investing, he spent three decades in the banking sector, including an 18-year tenure as President of Caisse d’Epargne Midi-Pyrénées alongside executive roles at Crédit Lyonnais and BPCE Group. He holds an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Paris and previously served as Global Services Director at Renault. Through Occitanie Angels and Business Angels des Grandes Ecoles, Carli oversees a network of over 200 investors that has deployed €20 million across 110 startups since 2006. His syndicate investment portfolio includes regional technology and energy companies such as iTrust, ILEK, and MyFox, which was later acquired by Somfy. Carli currently focuses on mentoring entrepreneurs and providing seed funding to drive regional innovation across southern France.
