Piero del Risco

Piero del Risco is a second-time fintech founder and financial services executive specializing in digital banking, engineering leadership, and enterprise product management. He previously served as the Head of Digital Banking for the Caribbean and Central America at Scotiabank. During the global pandemic, he successfully recruited and directed a cross-functional team of more than 130 software engineers, product designers, and product owners. Under his direct leadership, this group completely rebuilt the bank's mobile and web banking platforms to support two million active retail customers operating across eleven different countries. Prior to his extensive work in the consumer banking sector, he held various executive leadership positions managing product development at multiple insurance and investment firms. His current professional focus centers on building his second financial technology startup, drawing upon his operational expertise in scaling complex digital financial platforms.
