Phillip Wei

Phillip Wei is a serial technology entrepreneur and software engineer currently based in San Francisco, California. He previously co-founded the international food delivery platform Deliveroo, which secured $200 million in venture funding from prominent investors including Index Ventures and DST Global. In 2015, Wei co-founded OpenInvest, a Y Combinator-backed financial technology startup focused on value-based investing solutions. The company raised approximately $25 million from venture capital firms such as Andreessen Horowitz and QED Investors before being acquired by JPMorgan. Earlier in his professional career, he built complex automated trading systems for the hedge funds Bridgewater Associates and Blue Mountain Capital after earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Science from Princeton University.
